HOW IT HELPS YOUR BODY

Exposure to contrasting pool temperatures causes blood vessels to expand and constrict, increasing circulation, improving recovery and reducing inflammation. Through thermogenesis, we burn calories to regulate our core body temperature increasing our metabolic rate.

HOW IT HELPS YOUR MIND

CWT reduces stress by regulating cortisol levels and increasing endorphins, specifically dopamine ‘the happiness hormone’. Our pools include magnesium helping to reduce stress and improve sleep and general well-being.

Ice bath? Cold Water Therapy? Cold Plunge? What’s the difference?

Ice bath, cold water therapy, and cold plunge are often used interchangeably, and there’s essentially no difference between them. All three refer to immersing the body in cold water to promote recovery, reduce inflammation, and improve circulation.

Steam Room vs Dry Sauna

Steam rooms use a humid heat, great for skin hydration and clearing airways, while dry saunas offer intense dry heat, ideal for muscle relaxation and stress relief. Both promote recovery and wellness and tends to come down to personal preference.
